Donald Trump Shot at Presidential Rally
During a presidential rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday, 13th July 2024, a bullet struck Trump while he was on the stand speaking to his supporters, causing chaos as blood dripped down his face
Posing for victory, Donald Trump forced his fist in the air to confirm his strength of surviving the attempted assassination
So what do we know?
Trump took to the stands at around 6pm to speak in the city of Butler in the state of Pennsylvania
A gunman opened fire nearby and scraped Trump’s ear, leading to blood dripping down his face
It has been declared as an attempted assassination
But how was the gunman able to do this?
We now know the gunman was called Thomas Matthew Crooks, a 20 year old registered republican.
The gunman bearcrawled to the top of a small building to Donald Trump’s left and wrongly aimed, leaving the bullet to scrape the President’s ear
Despite his attempt, it was understood that there was secret service snipers on the two buildings behind Trump to protect him from these possibilities
With failure from his security, the gunman attempted to assassinate Trump as well as the bullet killing one person in the rally crowd and leaving two others critically injured.
It has been exposed that the gunman was heavily bullied at school and had an obsession with guns
The aftermath of the attempted assassination was taken to Instagram, in which the son of Donald Trump Eric Trump posted a picture of his father with the caption “This is the fighter America needs”
